WHEN YOU'VEGOT OCD, YOU NOTICE THESE THINGS
Random factors -- #1. the location and orientation of the crack in the sidewalk; #2. the decision of the city of Downey to place the traffic sign at that particular spot; #3. the position of the Sun -- which really means the position of the Earth in its orbit at this particular day, hour and minute of the year; #4. and my strolling by this particular spot just then; they all came together by chance to neatly bisect the shadow of the sign.
