Under The Ginkgo Trees

in my apartment complex.

Crazy!

Just Strolling Along,

marveling at the beauty of nature in autumn,

(Although I'm not formally religious, I used to attend church for social reasons, and even sang in the choir;  during this walk I felt like bursting out with a round of "How Great Thou Art")

when I came to this patch of sidewalk densely strewn with ginkgo leaves,

and noticed this out-of-place leaf.

Apparently it had made up its mind to follow its brethren and fall off the tree, but then changed its mind mid-fall and decided to stay on the tree a while longer.

Fall Breaking Out In Colors

At SeokChon Lake in Jamsil.  I think the foliage would have been even more spectacular if I had gone a few days later, but in any case it was gorgeous.
