Headless Ghost On A Wall

As if mere headlessness weren't scary enough, he was posing dramatically behind those "beheading" cables.




This reminded me of the episode of Kolchak: The Night Stalker in which the titular character, Carl Kolchak, who is a reporter and intrepid investigator of the paranormal who works for a wire service, had occasion to interview a former member of a bike gang;  the goons thought it would be massive fun to stretch a cable across a lane to catch unaware riders.  They ended up beheading a guy, whose ghost was now out for revenge, slicing off the heads of the former gang members (hence the episode title, "Chopper").

By the way, the protagonist Kolchak was played by veteran actor Darren McGavin.  I liked his character and eventually joined his fan club.  I was saddened to hear of his death from long illness, not long afterward.
